Yes, I too love Plato’s Cave story — interesting, after all these years schools are teaching the same subjects. Like an apple on the conveyor belt each season a new apple is placed on the conveyor expecting something new at the end. At graduation students should be told, “Now, to become successful you must go out there and forget everything you have learned!” Which is what I did. We were struck head-on, tossing me from the car, had an out-of-body experience in hospital. Following year struck by a train while two months pregnant — we both survived. Next year hit head on while five months pregnant with an infant on my lap — we all survived. Later, passenger in a vehicle that hit a parked van breaking my back, six ribs, sternum, finger. Then struck by a city bus running a red light breaking my neck! Leaving me with enclosed partial decapitation, so I earned a Master of Science Degree, and wrote a book how after breaking my neck I began communicating in spirit with a legend in the world of metaphysics. Six years later he passed and still communicates. Now, I understand exactly what Plato was saying — There is more to life than we have been taught!
