I barely understood a word you said, yet I am so in love with this topic! As a child who thought I came from Orion this subject has been on my mind — -forever!

Two questions:

1. The Big-Bang… if there was nothing there until the big-bang what was it that banged together as a beginning of the universe?
2. Why is it when earth is photographed from space there is never any universe behind it? It always looks like a globe suspended in space. Thought, are we (earth) inside a black-hole?
