For a minute I thought you were part of Operation Babylift when Amerasian infants were brought to America at the end of the Vietnam war, (technically, never called a war). I worked on the program and although it has been almost 40 years it still makes me cry!

By the time I graduated from eighth-grade I had been in 14 Foster homes. So I am aware of what you speak. What I learned is I never grew roots. Likely the reason I can move in a heart-beat and never look back.

It took a long time before I understood it was not my fault. It sounds like you have worked things out and understand our purpose here. I would not trade my background for anyone!
