Congratulations on your book making it to the Best Seller list!

Years ago, I owned a Bookstore in San Francisco and thought I would be there for life. I too, had Author Signings in my store.

After nine-years I lost my lease to a bank! Since I left a 10 year job as Trust Officer in a bank to purchase the Bookstore, I had no recourse except to move to South Africa for two years, to pout!

Having been struck by a bus, breaking my neck: ending my career, income and, purpose I have spent the past 10 years reinventing myself.

Here’s what I have learned:

  1. “Nobody cares how much you know, until they know how much you care.” * Theodore Roosevelt
  2. We are not a body, we are a mind — in a body. (metaphysically).
  3. Tomorrow is not a ‘given’ and even if you live to see another day there is no guarantee you will be the same person you were yesterday.
  4. An enclosed partial decapitation has allowed the time to write, it also has left me with double-vision, seizures, and loss of memory. In mid-sentence I will forget how to move the cursor.
  5. Last and certainly not least: A Legend in the world of metaphysics, taught me to love myself by connecting with me — in spirit. We never met in person. Although he passed in 2013 he still communicates.
  6. meme?
