Although I enjoyed Chu’s story, I believe there is more which even I do not understand. While I birthed five children they were as different as if raised in separate homes.
One daughter never said, Mama or Dada. Her first words before nine months were, “I want an elevator on my crib!”
Another daughter crawled at three months to the side of our house, picked up the hose and took a drink! (I have photos). She had been watching her siblings at play outside and copied their actions. Who knew?
It is as if as they grew they let go of their source and adapted to their environment. Parents should be alerted to this potential so they can become useful in developing the spiritual side.
